Maltese broadcaster PBS have announced that the second season of the X Factor Malta will begin airing on October 6th.
Auditions for the upcoming season have already taken place across Malta, as well as the Six-Chair challenge, which was recorded on September 20th and 21st. This will lead into the live shows which will follow on from the pre-recorded portion of the show.
The judges for the show remain the same as last season, with the panel featuring Howard Keith, Ira Losco, Alexandra Alden and Ray Mercieca. Ben Camille will return as the host of the show. It has not yet been confirmed whether the winner will represent Malta at Eurovision. For 2019, X Factor Malta replaced the previous selection format, Malta Eurovision Song Contest.
